Channel Cay is an island home equipped with hand-hewn tables, wicker chairs and antiques. The main house comprises a total of three full bedrooms and three baths plus a bunk room adjacent to the kitchen. Ceiling fans and cool ocean breezes will lull even the most stubborn insomniac to sleep. One of the island's greatest assets is its beautiful white crescent beach, fringed with towering casuarina pines and coconut palms. Here, a native thatched cabana and stone hearth provide the ideal picnic area. The island is only two and a half hours by jet from New York or one hour from Florida and a mere twenty-five minutes by boat from the area's main commercial centre, Marsh Harbour, Abaco. |
